In 1992, Najah Glaisa, a pioneering figure in the field of education, opened a private school in Tripoli, Libya called Dunia ElEbda (which translates to "the world of creativity" in English). At the time, it was the only individually owned private school founded by Najah Glaisa, who had a long history in education and had served as principal for ISM and Tripoli College.
With the success of Dunia IlEbda, Glaisa envisioned opening an international school that would follow the British curriculum. In 2004, Tripoli International School was established under her leadership, with Edexcel and then Pearson Edexcel accreditation. The school was authorised to offer international qualifications, including IGCSE, GCE, and IAL (International A-level), and it quickly became a highly regarded educational institution.
After nearly two decades of success, Tripoli International School decided to evolve with the changing needs of the educational landscape. In 2021, it became a Pearson school, offering a range of curriculum specifically designed by the international education company. Today, Tripoli International School is a school of choice for students across Libya and beyond, offering a world-class education with a focus on excellence.
